No!!! Don't say that Lindy! I had to have a completely unplanned operation and I'v been off my feet for 2 weeks! I'm so behind and haven't even started to look at Java scripting!

Wow! Rowena thats really looking amazing! How long has this taken you? You have really inspired me to get on top of mine now- unfortunately I'm still woking my way through the text book. Did you design it as you went through the text book or did you complete the text book first?
I noticed that on the "rules" and "call center" pages the text was on the left of the page over-lapping some of the images and making it hard to read - I know its still a work in progress but just thought I'd point it out and try to help - hope I'm not over stepping any boundaries!
Really awesome job!!! Congrats! And thanks for sharing.

Hey Rowena,
The browser I'm using is Safari (its a mac thing I think) and the resolution I was viewing it at was 1440 x 900. I went and looked again now and everything seems to be in great working order. I can read all your text and its not overlapping the images.
Now get some rest and stop making the rest of us look bad.

Problem opening files on CD. Is this because I have a Mac?

So I'm really sorry if this is a stupid question. I have tried everything I know how to and read and re read all the instructions- but I am getting no-where.
I insert the CD (not the Materskills one we received with the book, but the one titled internet and Web design) I can see 5 folders (Downloads, Tutorials, Browsers, Master skills and NETF).
I click on Masterskills as I am attempting to instal the HTML lesson folder
The master skills file opens with 3 instal files inside and an instruction document; Instal-CSS-lessons.exe; Instal-HTML-lessons.exe; Instal-JSCodel-lessons.exe)
I click on any of the above mentioned 3 and I get the same thing happen. A box of incoherent text opens and reads at the top.

Thanks Mac,
I did try to unzip the files before I posted my query but it didn't work. I'll check out the link you sent me, otherwise just try to run the folders on a PC and copy them over like you suggested.

Why can I see all my tags? (html:lesson 1: A and B

I am currently doing activity 1.2 onwards in the HTML section. I follow all the instructions very carefully but when I go to look at my page on the internet instead of just seeing the word "Nothport" I can see all of my tags too
Can anyone help me please?
What am I doing wrong?

For those struggling with the centering of the banner try just doing this, bracket "center" bracket before the bracket "a" bracket tag and bracket "/center" bracket after the bracket "/a" bracket tag.
I hope this makes sense- they wont let me use the < > bracket signs, don't use the speech quotation marks- I just used them to help my explanation make more sense.
